Message from TEL:

Welcome to the USC Technology Enhanced Learning website! Whether you are new to TEL_DL or have been with our team for some time, we hope that you will find the tools and resources on this site valuable for teaching and learning with technology. We also hope that prospective distance learning students will use the site to find program information.

TEL_DL became a key pedagogical objective in 2006, when Provost C.L. Max Nikias announced a new initiative for technology-enhanced learning and distance learning. “Information technology, multimedia, and the Internet, along with advances in artificial intelligence, have allowed us to develop new paradigms for teaching and learning, as well as strategies for their assessment and evaluations,” said Provost Nikias.

Today's USC community faces an expanding range of opportunities for enhanced teaching and learning, and we're here to help you achieve your goals. We look forward to working with you.

What is TEL_DL

Mobile Learning

As it sounds, technology-enhanced learning means incorporating technology into University courses. As incoming students enter with higher expectations and understanding of technology each year, and the demand for graduate-level distance learning courses rises, these programs are increasingly important to keeping USC at the forefront of teaching and learning.
